What gets recorded
- your IP address, plus a rough city- or region-level location worked out from it;
- browser make and version (the user agent), pages opened, and the referring address;
- anything typed into the contact draft - but only if you actually send the email it builds;
- the consent answer you gave, saved in your own browser.
What it is for
- keeping these pages online and protected from abuse;
- analytics, so we can see what readers open - only with your yes;
- marketing, meaning booking partners can credit a reservation to this ledger - only with your yes;
- answering mail you send.
Under the GDPR we rely on legitimate interest to operate the pages, on consent for measurement and partner cookies, and on the steps you asked for when we write back.
Who else sees it
Our hosting and measurement vendors, working on our instructions, and affiliate or partner networks when you click a partner link with that category switched on. We never trade reader data for cash. California law may treat affiliate tracking as "sharing"; turning off the advertising category stops it, and a GPC signal from your browser does that for you.
How long we keep things
Measurement records: no longer than fourteen months. Mail: while the matter is open, then up to two years. Your consent answer: until you change it or wipe your browser storage.
Rights for readers in Europe and the UK (GDPR)
You can see what we hold, have it fixed or erased, restrict or object to its use, receive a portable export, and revoke consent at will. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data regulator.
Rights for California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Ask what we hold and have it removed or put right; tell us to stop any sale or sharing; restrict use of sensitive details. Exercising them costs you nothing in service. Send each request to privacy@courtkings25.com, and we may check your identity first.
Children
These pages are written for grown-ups. If a person under 18 has sent us details, let us know and we will erase them; we never set out to gather data on minors.
